Specialising in the care of Dachshunds, The Long Dog Hotel offers exclusive home-from-home boarding and daycare in a peaceful countryside setting. We welcome all Dachshunds especially those with specific needs such as IVDD survivors, senior/elderly, blind, shy, nervous, or anxious pups. Our guests become part of our family during their stay.

All dogs are with us 24/7 and have full run of our secure front and back garden, woodland corner, and the downstairs of our home. There are no kennels here!

Our calm and quiet home environment is ideal for pups who have recovered from IVDD and are looking for a relaxing countryside getaway or a peaceful daycare experience.

Easily accessible from the M3, we are located in a quiet, quaint village near Basingstoke in Hampshire—just 10 minutes from J6 or J7
